Mission Statement:


This position will provide leadership, guidance, vision and strategic direction in the development and implementation of sourcing initiatives.


 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Assist the executive team in developing and maintaining a long term strategy for the sourcing and procurement function

  • Establish and implement short and long term organizational goals, objectives and operating procedures

  • Manage strategic sourcing plans across the company to leverage buying power to achieve cost efficiencies

  • Negotiate complex deal terms and be familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures

  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

  • Experience working with corporate counsel structuring complex transactions

  • Experience in national corporate real estate required, familiar with commercial market trends in Orange County, Philadelphia, Dallas and Atlanta



  • Direct experience in post-acquisition integration programs would be highly valued


 


Candidate Profile:



  • 4 year degree in a technical field, Business Administration or other related field.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the field

  • Professional designation as a Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) and/or other professional membership affiliations desired

  • Business and analytical leadership skills

  • Effective negotiating skills

  • Highly organized and detailed oriented
